It's 4 am Central time. I just finished off a can of Diet Mt Dew and I am getting in my truck for a 13.1 mile drive to my favorite turkey hunting locale. Once there I will endure a grueling 1/4 mile walk to the blind position where I will spend the next several hours attempting to sound like a sex starved hen.
UPDATE: Several birds within shotgun range but the weapon of choice this morning was the bow, therefore it's back across the 1/4 mile field and to the truck, no beer tent here.

Brian, is it possible that spending "several hours attempting to sound like a sex starved hen" and then getting back to the truck and there is "no beer tent here" is actually more taxing than my half marathon? Seriously, it was a "half" marathon. So you could expect it only took about half effort. And, when I finished I had no feeling of inadequacy.
Although I wasn't successful, I wasn't feeling inadequate...until now of course. Thanks alot! I'll make it a point not to skip the beer tent next time.
