I'm getting ready for marathon season with a new program and all new workouts. This will be my third straight week with 40+ miles and I'm gaining confidence by the day. The program I'm using I found online at www.marathon.ipcor.com and it's easily the toughest program I have ever been through. But I'm staying healthy so far! Getting ready is easy just prepare the day before!Drink plenty of water the day before a run.Eat plenty of fibre the day before your run.And most of all Eat a good breakfast! :)

Yes ensuring you have enough energy is paramount though you don't want heavy foods and make sure you don't eat within 2 hours of the race start!
