No Name Lake. Some open water hear, but no fish to be found.
This fish looks like it is bleeding, but it is not. It is just that incredibly colorful!
The sheer cliff in the background is the remarkable feature of Elevation Lake. In my grateful hand is a 13 inch cut.
I did not check out Mayflower Lake, but was told by a hiker and his son that they saw fish in it.
Mayflower Lake - easy hike
Lower Mohawk - 800 ft up in 1 mile
Upper Mohawk - further than most venture.
It is a nice easy 2.2 mile hike to the 4WD parking area from here. Up hill, but very do-able.
