Picture #8 in this series is not the best picture, but it shows two things. One, in the far upper left hand corner and possibly not visible is the trail down to King Lake. Two, and much more interesting is the center snow field. When we were hiking into this area, three snow boarders were boarding down that snow field and climbing back up to do it again. Let me tell you, that is a very steep snowf field. You would have to be in good shape and be a very good boarder to take it on.
